Wed 29 October 2025 TROPICAL REPORT Atlantic Tropical Weather Outlook Hurricane Melissa MELISSA CONTINUES TO MOVE OVER EASTERN CUBA AND WILL SOON EMERGE INTO THE SOUTHWESTERN ATLANTIC, BRINGING DAMAGING WINDS, FLOODING RAINS, AND DANGEROUS STORM SURGE TO CUBA AND THE BAHAMAS TODAY Post-Tropical Cyclone Sonia SONIA WEAKENS INTO A POST-TROPICAL REMNANT LOW NOAA Climate Prediction Center Weather in Cayman Occasional gusty showers are expected linger through the next few hours as outer bands associated with Hurricane Melissa linger close by before decreasing Wednesday. Fresh north to northwest winds and moderate seas with some possible swell activity along northern and western coasts are likely through late-Thursday as Melissa exits from the Caribbean and drifts into the Atlantic Ocean.
