The University of Gold Coast (UGC), formerly known as the Accra Business School, has cemented its position at the forefront of postgraduate education by becoming the first Ghanaian university to introduce a comprehensive MBA portfolio featuring integrated Chartered Manager pathways. This pioneering framework allows students to gain significant professional accreditation concurrently with their academic qualifications; thus, one program, two specializations, and multiple qualifications The new structure means graduates will leave UGC not only with a postgraduate certificate but also with the prestigious Chartered Manager designation and Level 7 CMI qualifications embedded within their study route. The initial suite of specialised MBA programs now available includes: * MBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation * MBA Data Analytics and Business Intelligence * MBA in Human Resource Management * MBA in Marketing and Communication * MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management * MBA in Finance This initiative is set to significantly enhance the employability and professional standing of its graduates in the competitive Ghanaian and international business landscapes by merging academic rigor with recognized professional charting. Present at the launch was Ghanaian economist, administrator, and writer Professor Stephen Adei, who is a former Director General and Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and former chairperson of the National Development Planning Commission under the Nana Akufo-Addo government.
