Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, on Saturday, visited Kaveri University and Kaveri Seeds Company, where he was explained the progress, achievements, and research and development (R&D) initiatives of both institutions in the presence of University Chancellor G.V. Bhaskar Rao, Vice-Chancellor Dr. V. Praveen Rao, and other dignitaries. The Governor said that students should lead social change by applying knowledge to enhance agricultural productivity, technology, and research. He also spoke about the state government’s ongoing initiatives in the education sector. The Governor toured various laboratories, including Entomology, Pathology, Soil Science, Breeding, and Physiology. He explored an exhibition showcasing diverse technologies such as drone technology, robotics, 3D printing, AR & VR models, and agricultural innovations developed by the students.
