When Life Gives You Tangerines - Netflix When Life Gives You Tangerines is a slice-of-life romance K-drama that takes place between 1950s Jeju Island and 2025 Seoul. Spanning Jeju's four seasons, we follow an aspiring poet and her unyielding partner, who weather several storms for their family. Their adventurous journey is narrated by their eldest daughter, who is an amalgamation of her parents' kind-hearted, hard-working personalities.
