Strictly's Ross King says 'I will back' as Lorraine star admits she 'doesn't like it' after major change

Strictly Come Dancing star Ross King has ‘I will back’ as a presenter filling in on ITV talk show Lorraine admitted she ‘doesn’t like it’ after he made a major change. The 63-year-old ITV star, who often appears on Lorraine, was paired on the BBC series with professional dancer Jowita Przystal. During Strictly ’s movie week earlier in the month, Ross and Jowita were put in the dance off with EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon. Sadly for the duo, the judges voted unanimously to save Balvinder and Australian native Julian, putting an end to their Strictly journey after a month. On Wednesday morning (October 29), Ross was back on his Lorraine duties. However, Christine Lampard, who was filling in for Lorraine Kelly, informed viewers that he was back in LA. “Ross is back in LA this morning, good morning Ross. I don’t like it, I don’t like you being back in LA. I like it when you’re here,” she said. Ross said: "Absolutely, missing a little hug from you Christine. I’m thinking about all my Strictly pals as well. So devastating to see Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink go at the weekend as well.” The Scottish star went on to sing Jimmy’s praises, following the football legend and Lauren Oakley being eliminated on Sunday (October 26) following a dance-off with Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin. “I just thought Jimmy was getting so improved, it was really moving stuff. To Jimmy I say one thing, [Ross says Dutch saying]. He taught me some Dutch, I didn't just learn to dance. I also learned some Dutch,” he revealed. Poking fun at Ross, Christine replied: “You literally could have said anything there, so I’m very glad you cleared that up.” Towards the end of the segment, Ross admitted that he is ‘missing seeing Jowita every single morning for eight hours straight’ as he revealed when he’s going to be back on Strictly. “It’s a lot to do, a lot of time to spend with one person. As I’ve said before, she’s absolutely brilliant. I do miss you, morning Jowita. "I will be back for the final, December 20, I will once again take to the dancefloor. I don’t exactly think I’ll strut my funky stuff, but I’ll do something. I’ll try to put one foot in front of the other, the right one this time,” he joked. During an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two after his elimination, Ross teared up as he paid a candid tribute to Jowita’s hard work teaching him. “I’m welling up already, the whole thing I always said was hopefully I could inspire people who can’t dance like me to look at me and think ‘if he’s having a go, I’ll have a go as well’,” he noted. “The joy you get from dance and the joy you give is electric and just beautiful. I know when you were a little girl you’d dance in your bed before you could walk, I know Jowita’s journey that she’s been on her whole life. “To share that joy and say to older men ‘get out and just do it.' It’s fun, you’ll have fun and have a laugh,” he stated.
