The romantic drama drew a crowd and had a successful debut at the box office, grossing Rs 8.50 crore on the opening day. This feat definitely called for celebration. To mark the film’s successful debut, the cast and crew went all out with a lively party in Mumbai. In a video shared on Instagram, the lead actors of the film, alongside the producer, were seen letting loose on the dance floor, celebrating the moment with great enthusiasm and joy. Directed by Milaap Zaveri, the romantic drama revolves around Vikramaditya (Harshvardhan), a passionate artist who falls profoundly in love with Adaa (Sonam), a free-spirited woman who views love as liberation rather than possession. Their relationship begins as a passionate affair, but Vikramaditya’s adoration quickly becomes obsessive, and his insecurities take over. Tragedy and treachery ensue, transforming their love story into a poignant examination of desire, ego, and the thin line between loyalty and lunacy. Besides the lead duo, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat also features Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. The film was originally called Deewaniyat before being renamed in May of this year. The film’s promotion included a unique campaign where Harshvardhan sold tickets at the box office himself, encouraging people to see the film in theatres.
