Snowbreak: Containment Zone has gotten a new trailer for its upcoming 3.3 update, Beyond Elysium. The ten-minute trailer breaks down quite a bit of what’s coming to the third-person shooter gacha game, including new characters. If you intend on watching the trailer on your way home or around family, don’t. Or make sure no one is watching over your shoulder. It’s just got some very anime moments, like a cat girl licking the screen and being super suggestive. It also bleeps out something she says. Later in the trailer, it just goes full mask off and confirms that yes, Snowbreak is for the horn dogs out there. Snowbreak hands out free five star character for 3.3 Back to the video game at hand. One major change coming to the game is that each major update will now receive two five-star characters. One of these in the 3.3 update will be free, while the others you’ll need to start spinning the gacha to get them. Beyond Elysium will give out the free Orange-tier operative, Haru Raikou, a five-star character. This giveaway is tied to a special Memory Mosaic, which appears to be a puzzle. You’ll need to acquire them through the event’s mission before December 18. The other operative is the cat girl, Mia, who isn’t given a rank just yet. However, as she’s the focus of the trailer, I’d assume it’s a five-star character. Alongside the characters, new outfits will be available. Mia and Haru get the outfits from the rather embarrassing section of the trailer, and there are others for different characters, too. New Logistics Squads Logistics Squads are also getting new additions for stat boosts. These are: Nimbus Squad Lemara – Intelligence Cielie – Medical Kyrim – Materiel Aozora Squad Vinae – Intelligence Nishizawa – Medical Miru – Materiel New and returning events for Beyond Elysium Elysium Ascent is a new solo challenge tower. You’ll take on various challenges in that event to earn rewards. It’s pretty cut and dry. There will also be a rerun of Azure Paradise, alongside its event shop. This is a pool-themed event, so for those of us just hitting Winter in a few weeks can be insanely jealous of all these anime girls and their “warmth” and “sun”. Updates to the Chain Assault mode, where you shoot targets for prizes, are also hitting the game. This appears to just be a refresh of the stage itself, as it looks different from how it did originally. Cosmic Crux, another solo challenge that focuses on kill streaks for points, will also land. Joint Purge is for those who are into co-op, and Supreme Battleground brings the heat for additional challenges. Snowbreak will also add a new boss, Apex Genesis. The trailer ends with more stuff that I don’t think I could play on a phone in public. A new room and interactive furniture are coming to the game to make someone walking in on you trying it out highly embarrassing.
