For many, having a tub of Quality Street, Celebrations or Heroes on the coffee table or stashed away in the cupboard is the ultimate sign that Christmas is on its way. However, in recent years, shoppers have been grumbling about the escalating price of our favourite sweet treats. So, when Tesco slashed the prices to one of the lowest we've seen in years, it's no surprise that shoppers were quick to grab them. These tubs usually retail at £7, so you're getting them for more than half off, saving over £4, which means you can actually bag two tubs for less than the original price of one. If you don't have a Clubcard, you can sign up for free on the Tesco website and start using it immediately to snag these savings – including the giant tub of Quality Street. There's no word on how long this discounted price will last though, so you'll need to be swift if you want to get your hands on the sale chocolates. Other supermarkets have already begun stocking the festive treat tubs too, with Morrisons and Asda also offering Celebrations, Quality Street and Heroes. At Asda right now, you can get an even larger 750g box of Quality Street , which comes in a decorative tin rather than the usual plastic one, and costs £7.98. Morrisons is also providing a discount for its members, with tubs of Celebrations and Heroes typically priced at £7. While the savings aren't quite as substantial as those available to Tesco Clubcard holders, Morrisons More Card holders can purchase them for just £6 each.
