ShackStream: Indie-licious Episode 182 - Dispatch

It’s another week and we’ve got ourselves quite an interesting indie to check out with Dispatch. It’s a narrative game from many of the people that brought us Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, and it’s about a beaten down hero working as an operator at a dispatch for other superheroes. Dispatch comes to us from AdHoc Studio. It came out on October 22, 2025, and is available on PC and PlayStation 5. The game tells the story of Robert Robertson, formerly the hero Mecha Man before his mech suit was destroyed. Bowing out of active hero duty and beaten down, Robert takes a job as an operator at a superhero dispatch. There, Robertson must navigate office drama and properly assign heroes to crises as they pop up. Join us as we crack this story open and play some of the first episode on today’s episode of Indie-licious, going live on the Shacknews Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter channels at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET. You can also watch below. We couldn’t do ShackStreams like these without our viewers, so be sure to follow and subscribe to the Shacknews Twitch channel for more content. You can do it for free if you have an Amazon Prime account. Following also just keeps you up to date when we go live with shows like Pop! Goes the Culture, The Stevetendo Show, Variety Hour, and more. What’s our day at the Dispatch going to look like? Can we keep our heroes in line on this episodic narrative? Find out as we go live with this week’s Indie-licious shortly!
