Sentinel Games studio debuts with Cure - A Hospital Simulator as its first game

This week, Sentinel Games opened its doors with the announcement of a game called Cure - A Hospital Simulator. It’s a social multiplayer game in which players operate a hospital in the apocalypse. Sentinel Games was formed of veterans and leads from the likes of Respawn Entertainment, Bungie, and Infnity Ward, but also StreamElements, and that combined talent is apparent in Cure with content creator features front and center in the experience. Sentivel Games announced Cure - A Hospital Simulator with the launch of its Steam page and videos for the game. Cure - A Hospital Simulator is a mix of several genres. Up to four players will run a hospital during an apocalyptic crisis. As things turn sour, players will stock and furnish their hospital, treat patients, and try to keep things running. When outbreaks occur, players will have to pick up weapons and engage in light first-person shooter elements. One of the more interesting angles at play in Cure - A Hospital Simulator are content creator elements through the Shoutout Engine. It connects Twitch, Unreal Engine, and Steam to allow for dynamic engagement with viewers, including allowing them to show up as NPCs in the game, trigger in-game events, and more as players adjust the engine to create their preferred playing, viewing, and interactive experience. Sentinel Games was co-founded by former StreamElements CEO Doron Nir, and he brings that experience in livestream development alongside his colleagues to create what looks like an interesting experience in Cure. If it works as intended, content creators should have an interesting title to look forward to as the game targets a November 2025 release. Stay tuned to the Sentinel Games topic for updates leading up to Cure - A Hospital Simulator’s release.
