A teacher faced swift backlash after showing off her school-day outfit slammed by her followers as 'unprofessional' and 'inappropriate' for the classroom. The teacher, who goes by Denise Kalo online, excitedly took to TikTok in a now-private video to show off her outfit of the day. 'I love my outfit today,' she excitedly said as she twisted and turned for the camera. The teacher wore tight pleather pants from Abercrombie, a black and white preppy cashmere sweater from Off Saks, and a pair of Zadig and Voltaire sneakers. In total, the outfit retails for around $570, with the pants retailing for around $110, a similar sweater is priced at around $130, and the sneakers are around $330. 'I'm obsessed with these pants,' she told her fans. 'They just have the best fit. I've had them for three years, and I just always find myself reaching for them.' She questioned whether or not to French-tuck her sweater into the front of her pants, which accents her slim figure. Critics were quick to express their dislike of her faux leather pants, which many deemed were better suited for a night out instead of the classroom. 'Club pants, at a school. If you want to know what someone is fishing for, look at the bait they use,' one X user wrote. 'The sweater is okay. Everything else has to go, and I would consider that unprofessional for an educator at that level.' Another questioned if Denise should switch jobs. 'Are you a teacher or a wannabe model?' they wrote. However, some had no problems with her outfit, and others simply wanted to join her class. 'What grade? Because I want to be in the class,' one man wrote. One woman wrote: 'As long as them kids are taught exceptionally well and get good grades, who cares if she [has] on leather pants or a [bikini]. It's 2025.' Another said the outfit was 'perfectly acceptable.' '[She's] fully covered here. Skinny jeans would show off just as much body definition. It's a hell of a lot more than what most girls wear in public these days.' In September, another school teacher sparked similar fury over her tight-fitting outfits. With more than 133,000 TikTok followers, Ms. Williams, who calls herself 'teacher bae,' has been slammed with scrutiny for posting videos of herself wearing jaw-dropping outfits inside the school where she works. While some viewers have defended her wardrobe - telling skeptics to mind their own business - the vast majority of stunned onlookers agree that her outfits are better suited for the club than the classroom. In one clip, the educator stood in the hallway wearing a form-fitting nude skirt, a white blouse and black lace-up high heels. In another video, Williams donned a partially sheer white maxi skirt and a black top.
