Over 1,000 TNAU students take part in National Letter Writing Competition

As many as 1,051 students of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, took part in the National Letter Writing Competition conducted by the Postal Department recently. The initiative rekindled the art of handwritten communication in the digital era among students and encouraged them to express their emotions and thoughts through personal letters, said K. Abdul Kalam, freedom fighter Tiruppur Kumaran, teachers, parents and others they had drawn inspiration from, said P .Vetrichelkalai, NSS programme coordinator. The campaign combined education and expression, inspiring students to rediscover the joy and emotional depth of handwritten letters, according to J. Ramalingam, Dean, Centre for Students Welfare. K. Venkatasubramanian, Public Relations Officer, Department of Posts, and N. Praveena, Post Master, TNAU Lawley Road branch, took part.
