The Telangana Government Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has given a nod to private candidates from the Arts stream to appear for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), March 2026, without college study. Candidates will have to pay a required fee of Rs. 500 as an exemption fee to appear in the IPE March exams without studying in college. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website — tsbie.cgg.gov.in — for the Telangana IPE March 2026 exams. They have until November 17 to submit the application form and pay the prescribed fee. Those who miss the deadline can apply by paying a late fee of Rs. 200 until November 29, 2025. While filling up the form, candidates must keep the required documents — such as the SSC pass certificate, transfer certificate, and eligibility or migration certificate, etc. — scanned and handy to upload online. TGBIE will not accept applications sent by post or in person. TGBIE has also stated that the practical and internal assessment tests for English under Part 1, based on the Practical Manual: A Handbook of Communicative English, will remain in practice for both General and Vocational streams. Who Can Apply for Telangana IPE March 2026 Candidates who satisfy the following eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for Telangana IPE March 2026: He/She should have a gap of one year after qualifying SSC or its equivalent to appear for the 1st-year Intermediate in March 2026.Candidates having a gap of two years or more after SSC are eligible to appear for both 1st and 2nd-year Intermediate exams in March 2026.Those who failed their second year and now want to alter their optional subjects from Science to Arts/Humanities, or within Humanities streams, must apply for exemption from attendance.Candidates who have cleared both the 1st and 2nd year Intermediate previously can appear for Second Language as an additional subject.Those who passed SSC or equivalent examinations from boards other than Telangana must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from TGBIE, Hyderabad, and upload a scanned copy along with their online exemption application.Private candidates with exemption should write papers according to the present syllabus available for regular students.
