District Collector Nishant Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated a newly constructed Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Chitvel mandal headquarters in Annamayya district. The PHC was built at a cost of ₹1.65 crore. Speaking to the media, the Collector said that the 24x7 facility would provide comprehensive medical services, including emergency care, maternity services, and general treatment, ensuring quality healthcare for the people of Rajampeta division. Railway Kodur MLA Arava Sreedhar and Kadapa Urban Development Authority (KUDA) Chairman Mukka Roopananda Reddy were also present. MLA Sreedhar said that the coalition government was giving top priority to public health, with modern healthcare facilities being established across rural areas. The Collector and MLA later planted saplings on the premises of the PHC, along with officials of the Medical and Health department, local leaders, and villagers.
