Television actor Mahhi Vij has strongly reacted to ongoing rumours suggesting trouble in her marriage with Jay Bhanushali. Reacting to a report on Instagram, she called it “false narratives” and warned that she is prepared to take legal action against those spreading misinformation. Her statement comes amid a surge of online chatter claiming the couple was heading for divorce. After 14 years of marriage Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij heading for a divorce, Sources confirmed that the divorce papers were signed and finalised between July and August 2025. The custody of their three children has also been decided. A source told Hindustan Times, “Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back.” It further read, “Reports suggest that trust issues were a significant reason behind the couple’s strained relationship.
