This will mark the first time the country couple has collaborated on a song. However, as Jason told Taste of Country, they were waiting for the right song to come along. Well, it looks like they found it. “Easier Gone” was written by Lady A’s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, as well as Josh Kerr and Jimmy Robbins. Details on the song are being kept under wraps right now, aside from the fact that it is the 11th track on Jason’s 20-track album, Songs About Us. Jason released a tease of the album to reveal that Songs About Us will be out on April 24, 2026.
