After months of speculation regarding Las Vegas Raiders star Jakobi Meyers potentially being traded, it has finally happened. He kept up with his request with the Raiders front office, and his request was finally granted. The Raiders are currently 2-6 on the season, and a poor showing thus far could mean that more players will be moved ahead of the 4 PM EST deadline. Through nine weeks of the regular season, Meyers has picked up 352 yards. Interestingly enough, the Jaguars handed the Raiders their sixth loss of the season in Week 9. Now, Meyers is joining an AFC team with a ton of upside. Nobody predicted that the Jaguars would be in the thick of playoff conversations, especially with new head coach Liam Cohen taking over the team. However, the AFC South hopefuls have been a huge surprise. The Indianapolis Colts lead the way with a 7-2 record, but their recent loss proves they can be beaten. The Jaguars have shown enough fight in 2025 that they may come from behind to snag the division crown. With Meyers now in the building, the offense just received a major boost.
