Lancaster Country Day scored in each quarter to defeat Berks Catholic 4-2 in the consolation round of the District 3 Class 1A field hockey tournament on Wednesday. The Saints finish the season 12-10. Lily Wolf scored in the first quarter on an assist from Emily Sebastian as the score was tied at 1 after the first quarter. Lily Stirr, also on an assist from Sebastian, scored in the second quarter with the teams tied at 2 at the half. Lancaster Country Day had a 14-2 edge in shots. Berks Catholic goalie Kinsley Fetrow made 9 saves and Liv Welker had a defensive save. Lancaster Country Day qualified for the state tournament and will play for fifth place in the district against the Greenwood-West Perry winner.
