The highest ranked team in men’s basketball playing on Monday, Nov. 10 is the No. 4 UConn Huskies, who are hosting the Columbia Lions at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn. This college basketball game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on FS1. The Huskies are 2-0 with both of those other games also taking place in Connecticut, although Friday’s matchup against UMass Lowell was in Hartford at PeoplesBank Arena instead of Gampel Pavilion. Either way, UConn has earned a pair of blowout wins to open the season, first knocking off New Haven, 79-55, and then getting a 110-47 victory against UMass Lowell. Columbia’s lone game so far this season was a 71-53 win over New Haven. UConn has had a different leading scorer in each game as Alex Karaban led the way with 19 in the season opener and Tarris Reed Jr. had 20 in the most recent win. Fellow starts Solo Ball, Silas Demary Jr. and Jaylin Stewart all scored at least 10 points in both games and bench players Eric Reibe and Malachi Smith combined for 25 last game.
