It’s obviously clear that Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams needs to improve. Through the first seven games of the season, Williams simply has not lived up to the standard of being a number-one overall pick. He has not thrown a touchdown pass since Chicago’s win over the Washington Commanders in Week 6. He has not had a game with multiple passing touchdowns since the Bears’ win over the Cowboys in Week 3. Williams has struggled with simple layup throws and has made some bad decisions on crucial passes. He simply just needs to play better. Do the Bears need to give up yet? Of course not. It’s still just seven games into a brand new and complex offense. However, it needs to be better. Williams has often been critiqued and slammed since being drafted in 2024. That trend has continued due to his concerning play. On Tuesday, Fox Sports’ analysts Collin Cowherd and Nick Wright slammed the Bears quarterback.
