High-level delegations from French Guiana and Suriname are expected to arrive in Guyana this week for a crucial meeting with Director of Sport, Steve Ninvalle, and officials of the National Sports Commission (NSC) to finalize plans for the 2025 Inter-Guiana Games (IGG), scheduled for December 5–7 in Georgetown. Wednesday’s meeting will mark the final preparatory session ahead of the much-anticipated event, which will once again unite the three neighboring territories, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana, in a celebration of sport, friendship, and cultural exchange. During their visit, the delegations will officially sign the Protocol Agreement confirming the sporting disciplines to be contested this year and will also conduct venue inspections of the facilities slated to host the competitions.
