Kasper Schmeichel went 'ballistic' at three Celtic teammates as culprits keeper raged at named and shamed

Kasper Schmeichel went 'ballistic' at three of his Celtic teammates for some slack defending against Hearts. That's according to Neil Lennon who named the culprits the shotstopper went after. The 3-1 defeat at Tynecastle was the low point of Celtic's domestic season as the sinking champions slipped to eight points behind Hearts who are now mounting a serious challenge for the title. The Jambos took an early lead through a Dane Murray own goal and although Celtic quickly replied through Callum McGregor, the second half was one way traffic. A superb finish from Alexandros Kyziridis, cutting in from the right, put the Jambos in front before Lawrence Shankland finished it off with a penalty soon after. After Kyziridis' strike, before the Sky Sports cameras cut to the Hearts players wheeling away to celebrate, Schmeichel was briefly spotted going off his rocker at the players in front of him. And Lennon reckons he knows exactly what the problem was – and who, in particular, felt the big Dane's wrath. Speaking after the game the Dunfermline boss pointed the finger at Benjamin Nygren, Arne Engels and Dane Murray for failing to properly close down the strike – branding the defending 'awful.' He said: “There are two of them there, it’s absolutely awful. He is coming into bodies. “Obviously, Nygren, he has done him with a little step. "The next one comes, and that’s Engels. He stands with his hands behind his back, and then Dane Murray could stick a leg out. I think he thinks it’s going wide. “You have seen Kasper Schmeichel’s reaction. He is going ballistic. You still have plenty of bodies around him. Just get a block on – I still think Dane Murray can get a touch on that. "I think Engels should get over, get a block on and get close to it, anyway. Once he does Nygren, the next one has to come.” Follow Record Sport on Twitter , Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond.
