Domino’s ‘67’ Deal: Viral TikTok Trend Becomes Pizza Marketing Gold

In a day and age when it can be a tall task for businesses to truly grab people’s attention through marketing, Domino’s Pizza found a way to stand out from the crowd. In doing so, the popular pizza chain tapped into users of virtually all social media platforms and certainly reached far beyond that. This all comes thanks to the wise marketing approach of utilizing arguably the most popular TikTok trend of 2025—”67.” The trend was initially sparked by Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball, who seemingly referenced the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla featuring G Herbo. However, it didn’t take long to go viral on social media, becoming an overnight meme. Now, Domino’s has found its own perfect way to capitalize on the TikTok trend, offering a large one-topping pizza for $6.70. Domino’s Rolls Out the ’67’ Deal: How to Get It Domino’s Pizza posted on social media about the 67 deal, and while there was no need to address its meaning, they did clarify the details. As stated above, you can get any one-topping pizza for just $6.70, but it must be for carryout. Here’s a look at the brief rundown of how to take advantage: Customers can order any large one-topping pizza online Use the code “67” to get the discount Only good on carryout orders Expected to run until mid-November Following the news of Domino’s 67 deal, videos and photos of people capitalizing on the offer quickly began circulating on social media. Considering the amount of buzz surrounding the 67 deal, it’s fair to say that the marketing team at Domino’s hit this one out of the park. What Does ’67’ Mean? LaMelo Ball Addresses Viral TikTok Trend Ball, who referenced the fact that he’s 6’7″, spoke recently during an interview with FanDuel Sports Network (via Sporting News) about the viral trend. As seen above, he even gave a quick look at the hand movements that everyone—from school teachers to kindergarteners and everyone in between—has embraced. While Ball admitted that it’s become his “new nickname” since the trend took off, he added that “it’s really nothing, though,” when asked what 67 means. Regardless of what his own meaning behind doing it was, the popular meme has officially gone from social media to the business world after Domino’s capitalized on it. Ball was also asked about the 67 meme during an NBA postgame press conference or two with the Hornets. During one presser, a reporter asked the Hornets guard if he had a favorite meme he’d helped fuel. After referencing 67, Ball gave a quick tip of the cap to another reporter who was apparently doing the 67 emote.
