Country star Lisa McHugh has given a positive update on her health after being diagnosed with functional neurological disorder. The Scottish singer, who lives in Co Fermanagh , shocked fans when she revealed her diagnosis back in July . Functional neurological disorder (FND) is a condition where there are problems with how the brain sends and receives signals , leading to symptoms like functional seizures, limb weakness or paralysis, tremor and numbness. In Lisa's case, FND caused her to lose function in both of her legs , meaning she had to learn how to walk again using a walking frame. She also experienced severe pain in her face, as well as debilitating headaches. The singer told fans at the time of her diagnosis that she would be talking time away from music to focus on her recovery. Now, Lisa shared a positive update , along with a stunning video showing her in a dazzling blue dress, heading off to a wedding. She also wore her hair in a sleek up do - she looked amazing! "From lying in a hospital bed four months ago to today, I can't tell you how it feels to be able to celebrate the new Mr and Mrs Kelly," she captioned the post. "Just amazing [heart emoji] [prayer emoji]." Fans and friends in the comments were delighted to see Lisa doing so well. "Unreal Lisa. You are power woman," said one person. "Looking fab Lisa, well done on everything you've done to get to this again. Very inspiring for so many others," added another commenter. "You are a miracle lady... you look beautiful as always, enjoy the day," a third fan said. Back in September, she gave another update - and it's amazing to see how far she has come! She posted video of herself walking in the garden and wheeling baby Hallie in a tricycle, while her husband Nathan and son Milo played a game of football. "11 weeks ago today everything changed... life since then has been very different, full of uncertainty and in 11 weeks we've also faced many hurdles," Lisa captioned the video on Instagram. "BUT, that makes me even more grateful for these moments with my little team."
