Chamber urges voters to back candidates who will make Island a 'competitive international jurisdiction'

An organisation that represents the Island's business community is urging voters at next year's General Election to back candidates who will help make the Isle of Man a competitive international jurisdiction. The Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce says the local authorities should be tackling local issues, and national politicians should focus on long-term strategy and how the Island is seen on the international stage. Twenty four MHKs will be elected in 12 constituencies when the Island heads to the polls on 24 September 2026. Claire Watterson is the president of the Chamber of Commerce
