Arch Manning Sends Message to Georgia Bulldogs Ahead of Texas Game

When the Texas Longhorns landed Arch Manning, the hope and expectation was that he’d be one of the best quarterbacks in program history. More news: Texas’ Arch Manning Given Strong Endorsement During Career-Best Game Unfortunately, Manning hasn’t always lived up to that hype, but he has been very good over the past few weeks and continues to improve for a Texas team that looks to be one of the better teams in the nation when it plays its best football. Texas got one of its more impressive wins of the year on Saturday, taking down a top-10-ranked Vanderbilt team. Vanderbilt came into the game with high expectations, but lost 34-31. As Texas gets ready for its biggest game of the year coming up after a bye week, Manning knows things won’t be easy against Georgia. However, he stated that he’d be ready and sent a message ahead of the game against the Bulldogs on Nov. 15. “A win’s a win, and we’re going to get on with this bye week and get ready for the Dawgs at their place,” Manning said, per Brian Davis of the Houston Chronicle. As things currently stand, Georgia is the No. 5-ranked team in America. If Manning can continue to throw the football the way he did on Saturday against Vanderbilt, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Longhorns make some noise when it matters most.
