The consolidated net profit of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility has increased 17.36 per cent at ₹276 crore in the second quarter of current financial year ended September 30, 2025 compared to ₹235 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous financial year. Revenue from operations grew 6.7 per cent to ₹3,467 crore from ₹3,251 crore in the same period last year. The Hyderabad - based company attributed revenue growth to robust OEM demand across 4W and 2W segments, strong performance from the lubes business, and increased realisation from exports. The new energy business has shown good growth in the telecom segment. “In the telecom sector, we are seeing a decline in lead-acid battery demand though our lithium solutions continue to gain strong traction,” Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director- Automotive and Industrial, said in a release on Thursday. According to Vikramadithya Gourineni, Executive Director - New Energy Business, the Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) for indigenous cell manufacturing would be operational by Q4 of current fiscal and accelerate cell manufacturing plans of the company.
