Former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson qualified for the Championship 4 race this season. Ahead of the season finale race, Hendrick Motorsports Ace took a trip to Mt. Lemmon with Truck Series drivers Daniel Hemric and Connor Moscak.Mount Lemmon is located in the Coronado National Forest, Arizona, where the championship race will take place this weekend. The mountain has an elevation of 9,159 feet and is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains.Along with the Craftsman Truck Series drivers, Kyle Larson took a cycling trip to the mountain and shared a series of images on Instagram. He also posted a picture of his bicycle in front of the 8,000-foot elevation sign and concluded his trip with a burger meal. During the pre-race interaction, Larson appreciated his crew chief, Cliff Daniels, for not feeding him "useless information" on the radio.The #5 Chevy driver and Daniels have been working together since 2021. Following that, the crew chief has guided Larson through countless victories and even a Cup Series championship title in his debut season. The duo has logged 26 wins, 76 top fives, 101 top tens, and eight poles in 177 starts so far.Cliff Daniels worked on his dynamics with Kyle Larson and only provided him with useful information during the race events. Recalling that, the #5 Chevy driver stated:"I like knowing as much information that I can get. And I've been. Cliff does a really good job being very clear in what he's telling me. Not feeding too many useless information, just the right amount.""Yeah, I don't know what it's gonna be like this weekend, but I would assume, you know. I'm probably going to be asking questions and hopefully not annoying him. And, uh, hopefully we're leading every lap and it all takes care of itself," he added.Kyle Larson became the last driver on the Cup Series grid to qualify for the Championship 4 race this season.
