Yasmin Karachiwala Reveals How Red Light and Cold Bath Therapy Help Her Beat Menopause Naturally

One‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ of the most highly sought-after trainers in the Indian film industry, Yasmin Karachiwala, who, apart from being known for her unique and result-oriented training, also promotes a holistic approach to wellness of her clients, recently shared her personal experience with menopause and how she is figuring out how to handle it with love, balance, and scientific therapies. In a recent video, Yasmin unfolded her story of how she dealt with this life phase by conscious lifestyle changes, red light therapy, and cold bath therapy. The fitness guru confessed that she was always overdoing and pushing herself too hard, and now she understands better the necessity of slowing down. "I gave up on overtraining and began paying attention to my body," she said. She also said that she realized recovery is just as powerful as a workout. Recalling her experience, Yasmin wrote, “Menopause may feel like a devastating storm, but you can find your haven in it. Love your body, nourish it well, and keep moving.” Yasmin was featured in the video going to the gym, eating a yummy meal of stuffed parathas, and doing nice things with her family—talking on video calls and petting her dog. Her caption was: “I didn’t ‘fight’ menopause — I collaborated with it. By nourishing my body, training with purpose, recovery, and love and laughter, I found my balance again.” The video also showed new and favorite therapies for her: Red Light TherapyYasmin was captured in a red light therapy room that emits low-level wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to help cells work better. The procedure, without any incision or pain, supports increasing energy production, repairs the inflamed tissue, and at the same time, it also helps the skin, hair, and healing. Cold Bath TherapyThe next scene was her taking a cold bath, which is known to lower muscle pain and inflammation, a method of recovery. The cold water helps constrict blood vessels and lower metabolic activity. It is especially useful in managing body heat and discomfort during menopause. She captioned the story with a note: "I didn’t 'fight' menopause — I worked with it. By nourishing my body, training with purpose, prioritizing recovery, and surrounding myself with love and laughter — I found my balance again." In the comment section, Yasmin also revealed some quick diet tips. She was asked about her nutrition during menopause, and she answered, "I try to eat clean." Most of her meals are full of vegetables, contain a few carbs, and a good amount of protein, while she stays away from sugar, dairy, gluten, and packaged foods. Furthermore, a follower asked her, "How do you get rid of the peri-menopausal weight gain?" and Yasmin replied with "Discipline with food and consistency with exercise." Ending her post with a message to all the women, Yasmin said, “To every woman out there: listen to your body, love it through every phase, and take care of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌you.”
