A WWE Hall of Famer has made a final decision on his in-ring career. D-Von Dudley, one half of the legendary Dudley Boyz tag team, reunited with Bubba Ray Dudley to take on The Hardys at TNA's biggest annual show, "Bound For Glory." During a documentary posted on his YouTube channel, he confirmed that this was the last match of his decorated professional wrestling career. "I felt tremendous," Dudley said. "The least of my problems was my back, and that's what everybody was worried about. My back feels great, my legs feel great. I forgot what it was like to have this type of pain. Could I do it again? I could, but do I want to? No. Like I said before, this is it. I'm walking away." Prior to "Bound For Glory," Dudley didn't have a match since April 27, 2024, when he teamed with Elijah and Bubba Ray to take on Canaan Kristopher, Derek Dillinger, and Wes Barkley during "IWC Superstar Showdown V." At that time, Dudley wasn't sure that he'd ever return to the ring before the opportunity to renew his rivalry with Matt and Jeff Hardy was presented. They entered WWE with significant buzz in 1999, and they maximized the opportunity. Legendary feuds with The Hardys and the team of Edge and Christian helped define WWE's tag team division during the "Attitude Era." The Dudley Boyz captured WWE tag team gold nine times. The legendary tag team continued their dominance when they jumped ship to TNA Wrestling in 2005. The accolades of The Dudley Boyz only grew, capturing the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley were also two-time TNA World Tag Team Champions and were the inaugural titleholders. In 2018, The Dudley Boyz were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Edge and Christian inducted their once fierce rivals.
