Despite there being computers everywhere, it’s extremely difficult to find Cooling Fans in ARC Raiders. This rare item is needed for Stage 2 in the Expedition Project so, eventually, most players will need to find them. Where to find Cooling Fans The best place to find Cooling Fans is the Space Travel building in the Buried City. This is a red Loot Value High building in the middle of the map. Because of its location and loot value, it is often a hot location with raiders circling it. You can increase your odds of finding a Cooling Fan by doing a Night Raid as well. You’ll need five Cooling Fans as part of Expedition requirements for Stage 2. Once you’re in Space Travel, you need to look for the old computer terminals. The small computers on the desks might drop them, but your best chance is to search the large units that have the data reels. You can find these computers on the following floors: Level 3 in the southwest corner of the room Level 4 by the sand behind the elevator Level 6 the room to the southwest before the breach door Level 6 behind the elevators If these do not have any Cooling Fans (or they cannot be searched), your next stop are the vertical computer terminals in other rooms. Look for the terminals that need to be breached. In the event these drop nothing, go back to searching the small desktop computers. Once you've got your loot, you can escape through the northwest alleyway between Space Travel and the Parking Garage. There is a set of stairs that go down to the train station. It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, bring a backpack with a safe spot. Throw the Cooling Fans in there so even if you get downed by a skill-less rat camping the train, you can at least ensure you keep them. Once you’ve got your Cooling Fan farming route locked down, you should get the five you need and then move on to the next item you need – which will probably be Light Bulbs.
