Yes, the temperature just returned to the ’70s in metro Denver, but winter is coming to Colorado. Really: Back-to-back snowstorms are predicted for the weekend. That should get us all in the mood for the seasonal fun to come, which we’re packaging up in Westword Unwrapped: our annual Holiday & Winter Guide. It will be inserted in the November 20 issue of Westword, and the deadline to submit events for that guide’s comprehensive calendar is coming right up. This year, we’re including an extensive section on holiday activities, both in the mountains and in the metro area, including Denver’s second Mile High Holidays Drone Show. But that’s just the start of the events in the area, and we want to include all the entertainment options from late November into early 2026. Hosting a holiday market? A free Thanksgiving feed? A Christmas Eve dance in the mountains? A New Year’s Day fun run? We want to hear from you! Send all the details (when, where, why and how much, as well as a photo if you have one) to editorial@westword.com; the deadline is 9 a.m. Friday, November 7.
