Warriors' Draymond Green Calls Rival Forward a 'Clown'

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green had some pointed comments aimed at Memphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama. During Monday’s game between the Warriors and Grizzlies, Aldama managed to steal the ball from Green in the middle of the court. Aldama then pushed the ball up the court and went up for a shot at the rim when Green came back into the play and fouled him under the basket. You just laying out on the floor, rollin’ out like you dead. Just to get up and walk to the bench and walk to the free throw line.” 🤡 🤡 🤡 Selling fouls might get you free throws… but it won’t get you respect.New Episode of The Draymond Green Show out NOW wherever you get your podcasts! pic.twitter.com/URtVRqMbvB— The Draymond Green Show (@DraymondShow) October 30, 2025 Green did not stop there; he continued to call Aldama a “clown” for his behavior and claimed that he would be perceived differently by other players from now on, with little he could do to atone for his antics. More news: Warriors’ Draymond Green Sends Bold Message on NBA’s Best Defender “What happens is you lose all respect,” Green continued. “So now you a sucka, and we can’t un-sucka you because you just acted like a complete clown because you listening to some dumba– coach who telling you, ‘If he foul, you sell it.’ “But now you gotta play while everyone looking at you like a sucka. And that brother went from a plus-15 to ending the game at a plus-2 after he did that sucka s—. “And so, I always tell guys, ‘Hey man, don’t ever play like you a sucka, because once you play like a sucka, guess what you are … you a sucka and there ain’t no un-sucka’ing you either.’ “And so I thought it was clownish of him to do that. He made a complete clown of himself, and I also made a clown of him when he missed those two free throws. You can’t fall out like that and then miss two free throws, champ. I mean, not champ … kid.” For all the latest NBA news and rumors, head over to Newsweek Sports.
