Vision 2031 cultural seminar in Thrissur on November 3

The Department of Culture will organise the Vision 2031 cultural seminar at K. T. Mohammed Theatre, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, in Thrissur on November 3. Revenue Minister K. Rajan will inaugurate the seminar, which is part of a series of State-level seminars being held by the government to envision the State’s progress as it marks 75 years of its formation. Higher Education Minister R. Bindu will deliver the keynote address, and P. Balachandran, MLA, will be the chief guest. The sessions will focus on two main themes: ‘Secularism, Humanism, and Cultural Diversity’ and ‘Kerala: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow—From Renaissance to Nava Kerala: The Contribution of People’s Governments.’ Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian will lead the concluding session. The seminars will feature prominent speakers including K.E.N. Kunhahammed, Swami Sandeepanandagiri, M.M. Narayanan, Anil Chelembra, Rafeeq Ibrahim, A.V. Ajayakumar, C. Raveendranath, T.D. Ramakrishnan, C.S. Chandrika, M.A. Siddique, and Jiju P. Alex. Leading figures from the political, social, and cultural spheres are expected to take part. The event will conclude with a dance performance titled ‘’Ente Keralam’ by the students of Kerala Kalamandalam.
