Black Friday is a great time for shoppers to snap up a new broadband or TV package with prices usually at their lowest compared to the rest of the year. Virgin Media is one provider that's vying hard for commitment from shoppers with it launching a range of new offers on its products, many of which are being given away for free for their first three months. What's more, the provider is making it easier to switch than ever with up to £200 to cover exit fees from other broadband services. If you've currently got a few months left on a contract from EE, Sky, or any other UK broadband provider, Virgin will cover those costs to buy out the remainder of your contract when switching to them. If that wasn't enough, plenty of Virgin Media 's packages have seen huge price reductions. For example, the Entertainment bundle is now down to £36.99 per month, and Sport can be had for £56.99 per month [via Birmingham Live ]. This includes Sky Sports for those who choose the Sports bundle. But if TV isn't something shoppers need, there are also broadband offers for Black Friday. Virgin Media is offering three months free on its M250, M500 and Gig1 broadband packages at £24.99, £27.99 and £29.99 a month respectively. These are great competitive broadband deals with speeds that are perfect for streaming 4K videos, gaming and streaming. The only downside is that not every household can access Virgin Media's network, so those thinking of switching are advised to check their postcode. Sky has also launched its early Black Friday deals and has reduced the price of its Samsung Galaxy S25 phone plans to their lowest ever price, from £28 a month to £22 a month with a £12 upfront cost. This means that shoppers can save £216 over the three-year contract period. Hyperoptic has also launched its Black Friday deals on broadband. Shoppers can now get 1GB of broadband speeds for £29 a month . Returning to reviews of Virgin Media, USwitch has reviewed the provider's broadband services . It noted: "Virgin Media is a very good option for any household that uses the internet a lot. "However, if you live in a smaller household and you only really use the internet to scroll on social media or stream the odd show, Virgin's offerings are maybe more than you need. You could pay a lot less for a much simpler package that delivers everything you need from your broadband deal. "Plus, a broadband connection on the Openreach network might be a bit more reliable and consistent than Virgin Media's network. So you might have a smoother experience with providers that use Openreach, such as BT, Sky, Plusnet, TalkTalk or NOW Broadband."
