EXCLUSIVE: MMA powerhouse the Professional Fighters League is bringing its international events to U.S. audiences through a new partnership with Vice TV. Vice is now the exclusive U.S. home for the linear telecasts of 10 international PFL MENA and Africa events, including both the MENA Championships on December 5 from Saudi Arabia and the Africa Championships on December 20 from Benin, West Africa. Eight more events from MENA and Africa will air on the network throughout 2026. In addition to the live broadcasts, subscribers to Vice’s various distributors will get access to free on-demand access to 50 hours of PFL MENA and Africa library fights. “Partnering with Vice TV represents an exciting new chapter for the Professional Fighters League,” PFL CEO John Martin said in a statement. “Vice’s unique storytelling voice, passionate sports audience, and broad linear reach make them the ideal partner to showcase the next generation of global MMA. Together, we’re bringing the action, culture, and energy of PFL MENA and PFL Africa to millions of fans across the U.S., while continuing to build the sport’s worldwide momentum through live events and exclusive programming.” PFL was founded in 2017 and launched the following year. It sat out live events in 2020, using the time to advance its proprietary Smart Cage technology and create PFL Studios for original content. The organization has had a deal with ESPN to broadcast U.S. events since 2019, though that agreement expires next year. Adding the PFL to its sports strategy will bring Vice TV to 200 hours of live event sports programming per year. Vice first launched its sports division in 2024. The league joins a growing roster of live sports including BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, United Fight League, and Arena Football One. Vice TV also recently premiered the six-episode series NFL Classics: After Further Review, hosted by Kyle Brandt and produced by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions in association with NFL Films, which revisited six iconic NFL games with unfiltered commentary from NFL legends and celebrity fans. In a statement of his own, Vice TV President Peter Gaffney said: “Vice TV audiences come to us for the high-octane, provocative and compelling content they can’t find anywhere else, and as we continue enhance our live sports slate, we’re proud to welcome Professional Fighter’s League to our line-up and give our viewers and PFL fans across the US access to these international fights for the first time on television.”
