Speaking to JoyBusiness on the sidelines of a commemorative lecture held as part of activities to celebrate its golden jubilee anniversary, Chief Executive of Vanguard Assurance, Frederick Adotey Saka, touted the company’s unrelenting service to its customers. He noted that the company ensures speedy payments and empathy. “When a claim crystallizes, it’s about the speed of processing the claim. That is not the moment to ask for too many documents. We empathize with our clients by making sure that their needs are met on time,” he said. He further highlighted the company’s dedication to offering value to customers. “This occasion is to show gratitude to our customers for their support and for believing in us as their insurer of choice. Just as we have been here because of our clients, we want to remain here for the next 50 years and beyond.” “It’s all about offering value to clients,” he added, reinforcing Vanguard’s respect for its customers. Statesman, Kwame Pianim was the guest speaker for the commemorative lecture. Speaking on the theme, ‘What I Saw in the Chief’s Palace,’ the renowned economist highlighted Ghana’s trends and the challenges of managing a business in the country. He commended the legacy of Vanguard Assurance’s founder, Nana Awuah Darko Ampem I and underscored the importance of supporting indigenous businesses. The commemorative lecture, which was held at the Kempinski Hotel, hosted eminent persons such as the traditional ruler of Juaben, Daasebre Otuo Siriboe II; Kwame Awuah-Darko; Daniel Awuah Darko, Board Chair of Vanguard Assurance; Shaibu Ali, CEO of KEK Insurance Brokers and President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana; and other players in the insurance industry.
