The company aims to strengthen its research and development framework and accelerate the deployment of AI solutions with this funding. Unseed provides full-custom AI tailored for specific business operations to major corporations, utilizing cutting-edge AI technology. As a startup from the University of Tokyo’s Matsuo Lab, it supports not only cloud environments but also on-premises and edge computing, with a track record of providing solutions to companies like Tokyu Land Corporation Holdings and promoting collaborative projects with publicly listed companies in Japan. The company excels in designing an integrated process from database design to model construction and continuous operation, enabling the realization of “AI that takes root on the ground and produces results.” It particularly focuses on processing at the edge, combining hardware and AI to differentiate itself in applications requiring confidentiality and real-time capabilities.
