During the pre-race interaction, Reddick shared the update on his five-month-old son Rookie's recovery after the prognosis.Previously, the five-month-old boy displayed signs of heart failure and was rushed to Levine Children's Hospital cardiovascular intensive care unit in Charlotte. Following that, Rookie underwent surgery and had his kidney removed, which had a tumor that choked the renal vein and artery. Reddick's son also had a transfusion in the initial stage before the surgery.However, after a series of tough weeks, Tyler Reddick's son, Rookie, has been discharged from the hospital.
