LOS ANGELES -- Let the season of Joy begin! Hulu is unwrapping its newest original holiday rom-com, "Joy to the World," streaming November 1. Starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Chad Michael Murray and Ayesha Curry, this rom-com turns holiday chaos into a charming story of unexpected love. Lifestyle guru Joy Edwards (Emmanuelle Chriqui) has the perfect life -- or so the world thinks. When a live holiday broadcast threatens to expose the truth, she scrambles to create a picture-perfect family, enlisting her best friend Max (Chad Michael Murray) to pose as her fake husband. But as the cameras roll and the holiday spirit takes hold, the line between make-believe and real love begins to blur. Director Jerry Ciccoritti brings warmth and wit to this holiday tale, with a script by Neal and Tippi Dobrofsky.
