Bosnian coach Mladen Zizovic, who led the Serbian club FK Radnicki, tragically passed away on Tuesday after collapsing during the team’s match against Mladost Lucani due to cardiac arrest. The 44-year-old collapsed on the sidelines in the first half of the game before he sadly passed away. “With the deepest sorrow, we inform the public, fans, and sports friends that our head coach, Mladen Zizovic, died during tonight’s game between Mladost and Radnicki 1923 in Lucani,” the club announced. “FC Radnicki 1923 sends its most sincere condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who shared the love of football with him.” Play was suspended while medical officials attended to Zizovic and resumed after he was carried away. However, when the news of his death arrived minutes later, the game was halted, and players dropped to the pitch in grief. Zizovic briefly played for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national team and was hired by Radnicki less than two weeks ago.
