Controversial businessman and reality TV star Tom Skinner has been invited back to the BBC after slamming Strictly Come Dancing . The 34-year-old, whose secret affair was revealed when he was announced as one of the famous contestant's on this year's show, blasted the series for drawing unwanted attention and claimed he can't go anywhere now without getting abuse. Though he is still with his wife Sinead, who he shares three children with, it came to light he'd cheated just weeks after their 2022 wedding. Sinead knew about the affair and decided to forgive Tom, but until this year it hadn't been made public. Despite saying he regretted appearing on Strictly, Tom is now set to return to TV screens to take part in a celebrity version of The Apprentice, the show he rose to fame back on in 2019. Sharing the news on X, he wrote: "BOSH IS BACK IN THE BOARDROOM!!" His post continued: "I've been invited back to take part in the celebrity Christmas special. The show that made it all happen, where my story started back in 2019! Absolutely honoured to be a part of this! Tommy the talking turtle would be proud. See you soon Lord Sugar. Bosh." Lord Sugar will also be returning to the boardroom as The Celebrity Apprentice is back for the first time in six years for a festive special. It will see the entrepreneur partner up with Pudsey Bear from Children In Need for two hour-long episodes set in Lapland. Other famous faces joining the line-up include Big Brother host AJ Ododu, JLS star and presenter JB Gill, EastEnders actor Jake Wood, broadcaster Angela Scanlon , Radio 1 DJ Charlie Hedges and Miranda star Sarah Hadland. Comedians Eddie Kadi and Shazia Mirza and Paralympic athlete Kadeena Cox have also signed up to the show, which will see the celebrity business wannabes come up with an idea for a new festive biscuit, before pitching it to UK retailers. In a festive twist, the winning snack will be available for fans to buy in the run up to Christmas for the first time in the show's history - with a percentage of the profits going to the BBC's Children In Need. And Tom is hoping to have a better time back on The Apprentice after crashing out as the first celebrity to leave Strictly. Saying he now regretting doing the show, he wrote on X at the time: "I wish I never done strictly, I never fitted the bill for that show let’s be honest. And It’s caused me nothing but agg. Constant absuse. "All I f****** do is try to spread positivity online. I can't walk anywhere without people knowing who I am. I’ve had a narrative spun against me so people always have an opinion on me now that they didn’t 3 months ago. I’ve heard so many lies said and told about me. "It’s driving me mad. I’ve had a constant pile on of abuse over the last month like I’m a mass murderer. It’s b*******. I went out to work in my van this morning and I’m either getting beeped at or people putting their thumb up at me." Tom went on to add that he's "had enough" after feeling that people he has supported are "starting to turn on [him]" because of what is being said about him online. He told fans that he would be taking a break from being online to concentrate on himself and his family. He added: "I ain’t one to admit I’m struggling. But I am. I’m honestly tired of all this nonsense. Can no one see what’s happening to me? I don’t know why I’ve become this target. I’ve always been the one that’s been solid. But I’ve really really had enough now." Follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads
