She is the lead in Hallmark Channel’s longest-running original series, When Calls the Heart. The series just finished filming Season 13, which will debut in 2026. Krakow has starred in several Hallmark film,s including The Wedding Cottage, The Blind Date Book Club, and the Finding Father Christmas trilogy of movies. Last year, she starred opposite her When Calls the Heart co-star, Daniel Lissing, in Santa Tell Me. She previously appeared on Army Wives, NCIS, and Castle. He will next appear in Three Wisest Men, the third film in the Three Wise Men trilogy of movies. He starred in last year’s Hallmark Channel and NFL collaboration, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Specifically, in Season 5, Krakow wore a wig as her character, Elizabeth Thatcher, had long hair and Krakow had a shorter cut at the time. She has had extensions, but they were causing damage to her natural hair, making wigs a more practical option. Originally, the character was kind of a bumbling guy, he later became a business owner, and for a short while, mayor of Hope Valley. Yes! They most definitely are! Yes!
