Seven-time Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL MVP, Tom Brady, has frequently been making headlines over the past few weeks. Whether it be his role as an analyst for Fox Sports, with who he signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with, Fox Sports investing in his entertainment and marketing studio Shadow Lion or the fact that he somehow cloned his dog, Brady is a constant presence in the public eye. Brady, 48, retired from the NFL after 23 seasons in 2022, and is best known for his role in the dynasty of the New England Patriots. Brady has transcended his passion for football into a passion for business. Brady holds a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and Las Vegas Aces as of 2023, created the TB12 wellness brand, founded a production company in 2020 and also purchased a 50% stake in sports memorabilia retailer, CardVault. Being that Brady was so determined to find success during his playing days despite being a sixth-round pick, it isn’t shocking to see that he is finding success in his business ventures. The 15-time Pro Bowl quarterback took to Instagram on Wednesday to share that Card Vault by Tom Brady was nominated for the best hobby shop. As seen in the post, Brady is hoping fans will vote for his shop in what is the inaugural Hobby Awards presented by Yahoo Sports and On Mantel. In total, there are nine other stores vying for the honor, and they each meet a certain criteria as expressed on the website. “These nominees represent the best of the hobby at its ground level — where collections begin, friendships form, and the culture thrives,” wrote On Mantel. “From flagship destinations to local anchors, each shop redefines what it means to serve collectors today.” While Brady is campaigning for his card shop to win, he is also preparing to call a Week 10 NFL game between NFC West rivals in the Los Angeles Rams (6-2) and the San Francisco 49ers (6-3). The NFC West is as tight a division as any this season, with both the Rams and Seattle Seahawks sitting at 6-2 on the year. Sunday’s game will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET and air on Fox.
