Tom Brady drops the ball live on air leaving NFL fans stunned: 'Did he really just say that?' READ MORE: NFL legend leaves Fox colleagues speechless with bizarre story By JAMES COHEN, SPORTS REPORTER Published: 23:02 GMT, 26 October 2025 | Updated: 23:16 GMT, 26 October 2025 In stark contrast to his NFL career, Tom Brady dropped the ball on Sunday afternoon. Since hanging up his cleats in 2023, Brady has transitioned from signal caller to analyst after signing a lucrative deal to serve as a Fox Sports announcer. However, there's been mixed reviews over his performances in the commentary booth and his latest mishap on Sunday will have done little to help that. During their broadcast of the Giants' 38-20 defeat by the Eagles, Brady seemingly dropped an F-bomb when discussing Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts, after he escaped pressure from the defense on a play in the first quarter of the game. Brady said: 'The D-line is almost there to get him, and then, nope, he just squirts away, and they can't f***ing… uh, just like that'. Though Brady attempted to swiftly move on from the comment, fans who were tuned in to the broadcast caught the expletive and quickly rushed to social media. The reply section was inundated with 'Yes' responses. Brady is signed to a 10-year, $375 million deal to serve as a Fox Sports announcer. Elsewhere during the Giants-Eagles game, rookie Cam Skattebo was rushed to the hospital after suffering a horrific ankle injury. The running back had to be carted off after being tackled at midfield by Zack Baun during the second quarter at Lincoln Financial Field. The Giants later confirmed that Skattebo dislocated his ankle and was taken to the hospital for 'further evaluation.' Immediately after the tackle, he went down in a heap and smacked his helmet in pain. Skattebo's ankle could be seen pointing at a 90-degree angle, with bone poking out inside his sock. Nearby, players from both teams immediately put their hands to their heads. Others dropped to a knee, while some turned their backs. Jaxson Dart could be seen shouting in frustration and shaking his head. Skattebo's Giants teammates called for medics to tend to the rookie, who alongside quarterback Dart has breathed new life into New York's season. The running back was in obvious distress as he sat on the turf and Skattebo already had a brace on his lower right leg when he was driven off the field. The comment came during Fox's broadcast of the Cowboys vs the Bears on Sunday evening Meanwhile, last month, NFL fans were left stunned after Brady seemingly admitted that he 'kicks his dog' during a live broadcast. During Fox's coverage of the Bears game against the Cowboys, Brady reacted to a frustrated moment from George Pickens, who threw his helmet on the floor. Commenting on the incident, Brady said: 'Those helmets can be... like a dog at home. Kick the dog, throw the helmet. Whatever it takes'. Bemused fans who heard the comment from the NFL legend quickly took to social media to question the statement.
