Titan FX commends Para-Badminton team’s medal success in Australia

Titan FX has expressed its gratitude and pride following the return of the Vanuatu Para-Badminton team, who brought home three medals from recent competitions in Australia. As one of the team’s key sponsors, Titan FX supported travel expenses and promotional activities through its Dream Beyond Borders campaign. The Dream Beyond Borders initiative by Titan FX Vanuatu aims to inspire individuals to pursue their ambitions without limits, often through supporting sports, education, and community-driven projects. The campaign’s message—encouraging people to chase success beyond perceived boundaries—was brought to life through the outstanding performance of Jacklynda Molidu in Melbourne, Australia. Competing in the SH6 short stature category, Molidu displayed remarkable skill and determination throughout the tournaments. She earned her first medal, a bronze, in the singles event at the Victor Oceania Championships. Partnering with Isaac Uma from Papua New Guinea, she went on to secure another bronze medal in the mixed doubles event. Her crowning moment came when she reached the grand final of the Yonex Australian Para-Badminton International, capturing a silver medal in the singles category—her first-ever international final. Following the team’s success, Rie Doyama, Titan FX’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, shared her excitement and appreciation. “We are very happy and excited for this incredible achievement. The investments made were all worth it, and we are proud to be part of the journey that empowers athletes to reach beyond borders,” Doyama said. With Molidu’s exceptional performance, Titan FX has expressed interest in recognizing para-athletes as future Dream Beyond Borders Award candidates, celebrating their perseverance and inspiration to others. Other major supporters of the Vanuatu Para-Badminton team included Badminton Oceania, VASANOC, and the Vanuatu Paralympic Committee (VPC). VPC President, Margaret McFarlane, praised the athletes’ efforts and highlighted the importance of their achievements for the growth of para-sports in Vanuatu. “We are extremely proud of Jacklynda and her teammate Rodney Talo. Their success inspires our nation, and we now look forward to expanding our programs into schools, where national heroes like them can motivate and guide the next generation,” McFarlane said.
