How to get fossil Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Getting fossil Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a little different when compared to catching Pokémon in Wild Zones or around the city. Rather than catching them, like the other Pokémon that make up the Pokédex, you'll need to collect their fossils and bring them to a specific location. It's not extremely clear how to get the fossil Pokémon, but luckily there is a side mission that will direct you to Tyrunt, Amaura, and Aerodactyl. Here's how to get fossil Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. How to get fossil Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A Fairly early in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you'll receive Side Mission 27, "Restored from a Fossil." You'll talk to Reg on the second floor of the Pokémon Research Lab, and he'll explain that he can take fossils and restore them into living Pokémon. He'll give you 20,000 Pokémon Dollars to buy your first fossil. Head on over to the Stone Emporium to do some fossil shopping. The Stone Emporium is located on Vernal Avenue in the southern portion of Lumiose City. It's a short walk up from the Pokémon Research Lab, and you can also fast travel to the Vernal Pokémon Center just above it. The Stone Emporium sells stones to special evolve Pokémon and certain Mega Stones. It also sells the Jaw Fossil and Sail Fossil for 20,000 Pokémon Dollars and Old Amber for 30,000 Pokémon Dollars. While doing Side Mission 27, you'll need to purchase either the Jaw Fossil or Sail Fossil to bring back to Reg using the money he gave you. Afterwards, you can use your own money to purchase however many fossils you'd like, or save up and come back to the store later. All you have to do next is travel back to the Pokémon Research Lab and talk to Reg. He'll turn your Jaw Fossil into a Tyrunt, Sail Fossil into an Amaura, and Old Amber into Aerodactyl. Every transformed fossil Pokémon will start out at level 20. Tyrunt and Amaura will evolve when leveled up to 39 during the day and night respectively. Meanwhile, Aerodactyl has a pretty cool Mega Evolution. You can obtain its Mega Stone at Quasartico Inc. From here on, you can take all of your fossils to Reg to get your fossil Pokémon.
