The President also paid tribute to the monarch’s distinguished service to the nation in his earlier years as a senior officer of the Nigeria Police Force, where he exemplified discipline and integrity before ascending the throne. The President also extended his greetings to Alhaja Adiat Durorike Jokotade Subair, fondly known as Iya Sunnah, on her 80th birthday. He saluted Alhaja Subair for her life of service, faith, and impact as a distinguished Lagosian, a former magistrate, public administrator, and women’s leader whose dedication to community upliftment has spanned decades. President Tinubu recalled her trailblazing roles across public institutions, including the Lagos Executive Development Board, the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), and the Lagos Judiciary, where she served with distinction. He also noted her remarkable contributions as President of the National Council of Women’s Societies (Ikeja Chapter) and her consistent advocacy for women’s empowerment, education, and social justice. He extolled Alhaja Subair’s enduring commitment to public good and her service to Islam as Somori Adinni of Okepopo Central Mosque and Iya Sunnah of Olorunsogo Mosque, Lagos.
