Before the season started, they signed a contract with Proof Point. After signing the deal, TGL’s official X account shared a post, announcing Proof Point as their Founding partners and official Cybersecurity partner. They added that the company would sponsor TGL’s Hammer and hence would be broadcast by the league on digital platforms. Here's the post:TGL @TGLLINKWe are excited to announce @proofpoint as one of our newest Founding Partners and as our Official Cybersecurity Partner! As part of our partnership, Proofpoint will become the sponsor of the TGL Hammer, as well as be featured on broadcast and in digital and social content.Ryan Kalember, Chief Strategy Officer at Proofpoint, expressed his enthusiasm at this collaboration and said:“We’re excited to join TGL presented by SoFi as its Official Cybersecurity Partner. Like TGL, Proofpoint is driven by innovation, precision, and teamwork. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to using cutting-edge technology to elevate performance—whether on the green or in the fight against today’s most sophisticated cyber threats.”The opening match of TGL's second season will take place on December 29, 2026, on ABC. It will see Atlanta Drive Golf begin their title defense against the New York Golf Club. The second match is scheduled on January 3rd between Boston Common Golf and the Los Angeles Golf Club. All remaining group stage matches will continue until March 4, with Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links playing their first on January 14.After all the TGL matches conclude, the semi-finals will be held on March 17. The finals will then take place over two days on March 23 and March 24.What did Tiger Woods say after winning the only TGL match? This year, Tiger Woods didn't play any events on the PGA Tour and even missed out on the Masters Tournament, which has always been a staple tournament in his schedule. Woods’ last PGA Tour appearance was at the 2024 Open Championship, where he failed to make it through the cut line after the second round.Tiger Woods only played five TGL tournaments in the 2025 season. In one of these matches, he helped his team, Jupiter Links, win the event scheduled on January 27 against Boston Common Golf. After the G.O.A.T. clinched his only TGL win in the 2025 season, he joined a press conference and shared his thoughts. He said (via ASAP Sports):“It was definitely different than when we first played. Lesson was learned the hard way. We came in here more prepared. It is so different than normal golf, playing in a bigger screen like this or the green moving and contorting the breaks. A putt you normally -- well, you hit once, automatically you already know the read, but they move the green on you. A putt that went right to left now goes left to right. Those are all little things we've had to learn on the fly.”“TK was unbelievable coming in here. We did some good work the other day, and today it couldn't have been a more pleasurable display of golf, banter. Everyone in the audience was engaged. Hopefully all the viewership were engaged. We as players loved it…This is what we had envisioned for TGL, to have an experience like this, and I think we delivered,” he added.Tiger Woods' team, Jupiter Links, will next be seen in action on January 14, 2026, against the New York Golf Club.
