CFMoto has unveiled its latest flagship adventure motorcycle, the 1000MT-X, at EICMA 2025. The bike is powered by a reworked version of KTM's LC8c parallel-twin engine from the 990 Duke and 990 RC R models. The new engine displaces 947cc and produces a peak power of 110hp and torque of up to 105Nm. This is a major upgrade over the previous model's output of just under 94hp and nearly 87Nm. The 1000MT-X's engine has a bore and stroke of 92.5mm and 70.4mm, respectively. It weighs just 56kg, thanks to an alloy crankcase and internals that ensure smoother throttle response. The bike also features Bosch's MSE 9.0 EFI system for precise throttle control. Despite the bigger engine, CFMoto has managed to keep the weight in check at a dry weight of just under 199kg, slightly more than its predecessor but still manageable for an adventure bike of this caliber. The 1000MT-X comes with a steel frame and fully adjustable KYB suspension with approximately 229mm (9-inch) of travel. It also has a low-seat variant that reduces the height from 875mm to 830mm, making it more accessible for shorter riders. The bike is equipped with Brembo hardware with dual disks (320mm) at the front and a single disk (260mm) at the rear, both supported by cornering ABS for enhanced safety on different terrains. An IMU from Bosch enables the traction control and five riding modes, while Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoked wheels give it dual-purpose credentials. The bike also features an 8.0-inch TFT display for smartphone-style clarity and control over all major systems. CFMoto also showcased a one-off Crafted concept version with bronze-finished forks and satin gray details, hinting at the model's customisation potential. The 1000MT-X's 22.5-liter fuel tank promises over 450km of range, perfect for long-distance touring. The bike comes in two color options: Zephyr Blue and Tactical Green. However, there is no official confirmation yet on an India launch for this model.
